Membership Dollars Have Helped PoconoArts Accomplish:
A monthly newsletter featuring the community’s upcoming artistic events,
feature articles, members’ spotlight and recognition of major PoconoArts
supporters.
Creation of the PoconoArts Community Cultural Center in downtown Stroudsburg.
A Partnership with the PA Council on the Arts as one of thirteen statewide
PA Partners in the Arts. Through this program, PoconoArts awarded almost
$415,000 in state tax dollars to the Pocono region since 1997.
PoconoArts’ Arts in Education Regional Residency Program has placed
over 100 professional artists in local classrooms since 1996. Artists work
with a core group of students using the arts as a means of integrating
a variety of subjects.
Special youth programs such as the Youth in Music Excellence Awards
& High School Juried Exhibition.
On-going adult and children’s classes in a variety of artistic disciplines.
Public Gallery Spaces and Special Exhibits featuring the work of PoconoArts
member visual artists.
PoconoArts ARTSPACE Cooperative Gallery, hosting monthly exhibits at
the Center.
“Arts in the Poconos” Brochure.
